Surrender to the mesmeric frequencies of three powerful voices as they call out across space and time.
Tower Divas is a new composition and collaboration, directed and sound-designed by Gold Coast-based contemporary composer Corrina Bonshek, and co-created and performed by three awe-inspiring and deeply earthed artists: Yolngu songstress Gambirra Illume, Maori sonic weaver Whaia, and Korean-born vocalist and improviser Sunny Kim.
These four women weave a sonic bridge between cultures, the natural world, and the intrinsic elements of life. This highly original and moving performance is part ritual, part sound healing, and all heart.
