Whaia holding her whale tooth flute

Call to the Whales

Let multi-instrumentalist and vocalist WHAIA Sonic Weaver be your guide as you surrender the gently powerful waves of sound from Michael Askill’s gong orchestra. This one-of-a-kind performance features Greta Kelly on shah kaman (Persian violin), stirring calls of Eastern Humpback whales, and ambient electronics from director/composer Corrina Bonshek.

The music in this show is inspired by the life within our oceans, especially our friends the Whales.
