A little plot of land is a comic music-theatre work about hype, hope, and home.
Inspired by real events in regional Queensland — where a “free land” campaign captured national attention — the work explores housing, migration and belonging through humour and music.
Blending song, rap and brass-band energy, the work transforms a distinctly Queensland story into a vibrant, music + storytelling event.
Timely and accessible, it speaks directly to audiences navigating questions of home, opportunity and community.
Cast: 3 singers / 1 rapper narrator / 3-8 musicians.
Can be programmed as a double-bill with Brisbane soul-funk party band Bullhorn.
